NRA Gun of the Week: Glock 19X Pistol

A few years ago the U.S. Army issued a Request for Proposals for a new service pistol (XM17 MHS) to replace the Beretta M9, which had been the official sidearm since 1985. Ultimately the contract was granted to SIG Sauer, and Glock took its 9 mm Luger MHS pistol back to the drawing board, changed a few features and offered it for civilian purchase. The resulting gunthe Glock 19Xfeatures the compact slide assembly of the G19 paired with the standard duty-size frame of the G17—an iteration of the Gen5 finished in Coyote Tan. Check out this week's NRA Gun of the Week video to learn more about the Glock 19X.
