Rock Island Armory's known for its affordable line of 1911s, and for 2013 the company is putting a new model on the market. This one's chambered in a round that's not often seen anymore: 10 mm.

Two versions of the 10 mm 1911 will be available—a traditional model, and a tactical version with an accessory rail. Both are all-steel, full-size pistols with a matte-black finish. And, as with most Rock Island products, the 10 mm 1911 will immediately be one of the most affordable firearms of its class on the market.

Take a look at the video below to get more on the new 10 mm 1911 from Rock Island's President/CEO, Martin Tuason—and then see it in action on the pistol range at Media Day 2013. Also be sure to read B. Gil Horman's full review of this gun.
